As we near completion of this year's clearing season for Site C, we are making some changes to our work schedule. Starting on Monday March 11, we will begin nighttime log hauling in the Cache Creek, Old Hope Road, and dam site areas.

Later this month, work will start along Highway 29 at Halfway River to prepare for the realignment of a four-kilometre segment of the highway.

Clearing and debris management is underway in various Site C project areas. Merchantable trees of sufficient size, quality and volume that are suitable for harvest will be hauled to local mills. The remaining wood waste may be chipped, mulched, spread as coarse woody debris or burned on site.
