Our latest employment statistics show that there were 4,823 total workers on the Site C project in October 2019. Of the total workers, 3,637 – or 75% – were from British Columbia.
BC Hydro completes concrete placement milestone ahead of schedule
BC Hydro reached a major milestone on the Site C project with the completion of roller-compacted concrete placements in the upper spillway buttress on October 30, 2019. This achievement occurred seven months ahead of schedule.
