BC Hydro provides $50,000 for transitional housing in Fort St. John
BC Hydro provided information today on funding for emergency and transitional housing programs in Fort St. John.
Site C will produce among the lowest lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions, per gigawatt hour, compared to other forms of electricity generation – and significantly less than fossil fuel sources.
As part of a community agreement with the District of Taylor, BC Hydro provided funding to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to install continuous street lighting along Highway 97 through Taylor, changeable message signs and a highway webcam to provide motorists with advance notification of weather and road conditions.
