Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees, contractors and members of the public. We have been monitoring COVID-19 closely and have been taking appropriate action as the situation evolves.
Site C Employment Statistics – June 2021
The total project workforce number increased by 178 workers in June for a total of 5,046. This is the first time in 2021 this number is above 5,000, and our second highest worker number to date on the project. In 2020, we peaked at 5,181 on October. The total B.C. residency percentage increased by 1% to 71% in June.
Site C Employment Statistics – May 2021
The latest employment statistics show that there were 4,868 total workers on the Site C project in May 2021. Of the total workers, 3,425 were from British Columbia, or 70%. There were 989 workers on site from the Peace River Regional District — that's 24% of the construction and non-construction contractor's workforce.
