This section provides information for Peace Region residents, Indigenous Nations, communities and property owners.
We’re engaged with municipal, regional and provincial government stakeholders to ensure they are kept up to date on the status of the project.
The Regional Community Liaison Committee (RCLC) was an advisory forum for local, regional and provincial government officials. The committee met regularly to receive information about project construction, mitigation and compliance reporting, and to bring forward community interests, issues and concerns about the project.
With the majority of construction complete, the operations phase having started and following approval from RCLC members, the committee’s final meeting was held on November 27, 2024.
We continue to meet directly with municipalities and engage with key municipal staff to discuss specific issues of interest.
