The Community Recreation Site Fund was established by BC Hydro to mitigate impacts of the Site C Clean Energy Project on recreation sites along the Peace River and its tributaries, outside the dam site and reservoir area.

Eligible non-profit recreation groups, local governments, and Indigenous Nations can apply for up to $50,000 per site to create new or enhance existing recreation sites. Projects may include amenities such as cleared areas for camping, fire pits, picnic tables, or outdoor washrooms.
