Northern Development approves $180,000 for 8 projects through the BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund
The BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund (PACF) board of directors has approved $180,298 in grant funding to support agricultural production and related economic activity in the Peace Region.
Site C Employment Statistics – October 2022
There were 5,554 total workers on the Site C project in October 2022. Of the total workers, 3,711 were from British Columbia, or 67%. There were 1,085 workers on site from the Peace River Regional District - that's 23% of the construction and non-construction contractor’s workforce.
